Brand Guidelines
We want to make it easy to partner with Sound Seal. Here are some resources and quick guidelines. Be sure to download our full Brand Guidelines for applications of our brand as well as dos and don'ts.

The following zip file contains various file formats and versions of all our logos that you can download and use for both web and print.
Logo Acceptable Use
Primary Logo - All Black
This logo should be used first and foremost whenever necessary in print and digital materials.
Primary Logo - Reversed
The white/reversed logo should be used whenever on a black or dark background.

Clear Space
There should always be clear space around the entire logo. Each ‘X’ represents 1/4” of clear space. This is the minimum that should be left around the logo whenever possible. This applies to the Sound Seal logo and each Sound Seal brand logo.


Minimum Size
The Sound Seal logo should not be used smaller than 1-1/4” wide for legibility purposes.

Incorrect Usage
The Sound Seal logo should never be altered from the accepted versions.
NO style effects such as drop shadow, embossing, etc.
DO NOT rotate the logo in any way.
DO NOT stretch or distort the logo in any way.
DO NOT cut off or crop any part of the logo.
CAG (A Catalyst Acoustics Group Company) Logo
This logo should be included in all literature, advertising, etc. secondary to the Sound Seal logo. It should be placed on the back / bottom of pieces, small and subtle. The logo can be used in Corporate Blue, Black, Faded Black and white (depending on what fits with specific material being created).See Literature Page of Style Guide for examples of the CAG logo use.




Composite Logo: Sound Seal Logo + CAG (A Catalyst Acoustics Group Company) Logo
When situations arise that call for both logos to be used as a composite (articles, press releases, etc.), this composite logo should be used in black or white reversed. The CAG logo should be used in conjunction with the Sound Seal logo but should not overpower it.

Sound Seal’s accent color should be used minimally and only when combined with Black.

Typography
Primary Headline / Display Font

Helvetica Neue LT Std Bold should only be used for main headlines (i.e. main title on literature, main headline on banner graphics, etc). It can be used in title case or all uppercase depending on the design.
Sub-Head Font


Helvetica Neue Medium & Regular are both suitable for sub heads (depending on the situation). It can be used in title case or all uppercase depending on the design.
Body Copy


Helvetica Neue Regular & Light are both suitable for sub heads (depending on the situation). It can be used in title case or all uppercase depending on the design.

Digital Printing Note:
Sound Seal’s current preferred printer is GotPrint (www.gotprint.com). Business Cards are printed on 16 pt. Premium Matte Cover.

Print Materials
Brochures
Sound Seal has brochures for each of their brands. The style of these brochures do not need to be exactly the same — but they do need to use Sound Seal’s colors and fonts. All brochures should include the specific brand logo, Sound Seal logo, website/social media icons lock- up and the “A Catalyst Acoustics Group Company” logo. These should always be presented the same way and on the back cover.

Standard Sound Quality Data Sheet
Advertising
Advertising contains high quality, eye-catching application/environment photos or renderings. Ads should use minimal text, website/social icon lock up and CAG Company logo. When possible, a call-to-action should be included (i.e. QR code leading to video, literature, website, etc.).


Graphic Displays / Banner Stands
Graphic displays (typically used for tradeshows) should follow this overall layout. The following is an example of a standard 33”x 80” pop up banner regularly used.

Design Elements
The following design elements should be used consistently throughout Sound Seal marketing materials. These elements do not HAVE to be used in all pieces, but should when appropriate.
Sound Seal “S” Element
For general Sound Seal pieces (not brand specific pieces), this portion of the Sound Seal “S” can be used as a design element. The “S” is at 7% opacity on a black background.
Cropping should always be consistent with the above.
Alternate color options can be used when a black background will not work.
Sound Seal Yellow Bar
This yellow bar should be tied into marketing pieces as a subtle accent (less is always more). It can be used horizontally, vertically and in different sizes that fit the specific piece.

Several of Sound Seal’s brands – SoundQuality, SoundCurtains and WoodTrends – have design elements specific to them. These elements are subtly used in materials such as brochures, data sheets and sell sheets.

The following social media icons should be included on all printed pieces, advertising, eblasts and employee email signatures (in this order).

When possible, this lockup should be used.
Website font should be in Helvetica Neue Bold (all lowercase).

Sound Seal’s social media posts should use quality photos/images paired with black background boxes and white text that follows the typography standards.
eBlasts
Below are examples of the general style Sound Seal eblasts should follow.
Sound Seal white logo on black background should always be used
Sound Seal’s font (Helvetica Neue) should be used for eblast headlines. If necessary, build headlines outside of HubSpot in order to use correct font styles.
Yellow accent color should be used throughout eblast. If yellow doesn’t work for certain situations, black and shades of grey can be used
Body Copy: Helvetica Bold should be used for headlines, Helvetica Regular for body copy.
Footer should include social media icons and Sound Seal address.


If eblast is related to a specific brand of Sound Seal, brand logos (with “By Sound Seal” tagline) should be used in headers instead of Sound Seal logo.
Below are examples of eblasts that were customized towards a specific product/launch/event/etc. In situations like this, accent colors and design elements can be adjusted to go with the overall theme, but fonts should stay consistent.

The homepage features scrolling hero images that represent each of Sound Seal’s product categories (Architectural, Industrial, Underlayment & Masonry). These images can be updated as new images become available.

Email Signature
All Sound Seal employees should use the standard email signature. Occasionally, special email signatures will be created with a call-to-action or event promotion (i.e. tradeshow). Sound Seal logo links to Sound Seal website, social media icons link to social platforms and so on.
